Spring has sprung in north Georgia as a Bradford Pear and several dozen peach bushes at the nearby Jaemor Farm bracket two classic SD40-2s on their way back to Gainesville.

A dreary December afternoon finds a rolling meet in the double track in Lula as local G54 races north past NS 153 proceeding on the two side.

One of only a few 1600 series SD40-2's on NS's roster leads northbound local train G54 at Lula, GA as it leans into one of many dramatic curves of the Greenville District.
